Polmaily House, a stunning and historic large group accommodation venue, serves as the perfect self-catering holiday home, wedding venue and event space. Nestled near the charming village of Drumnadrochit and just a few miles away from the majestic Urquhart Castle, this impressive estate is situated amidst the breathtaking beauty of Scotland’s Highlands in the North of Scotland. Available for rent all year round, Polmaily House allows guests to fully experience each enchanting season – from thrilling winter skiing adventures to the seemingly endless days of summer.
Weddings
Polmaily House opens its historic doors as an unique and wonderful exclusive venue for your wedding celebrations. The 12-bedroom 300 year old former Georgian home of the Grant clan, sitting in 6 acres of beautiful grounds, welcomes you and your clan to celebrate your big day.
Group Bookings
Smaller celebrations of up to 20 people can be held within the 12 bedroomed big house, but the tennis court is perfect for you to hire a marquee, teepees or a stretch tent to increase the number of your guests up to 100 people.
Golf
Following on from the huge success of Polmaily House as an exclusive use self- catering holiday home, we are delighted to announce that we are now able to offer golfing holidays in the birthplace of golf, Scotland. Not only will you stay at one of the Highlands’ most historic country homes, but you will also enjoy some of the finest golf to be found anywhere in the world.
Facilities
Whatever your reason for staying with us, you will enjoy the truly unrivalled facilities – with an indoor heated swimming pool, croquet lawn (site for wedding marquees), pontoon over trout pond (venue for outdoor wedding ceremonies), tennis court, football pitch, badminton, an open fire (logs included), a fire pit, volleyball, cinema room, a giant trampoline and a games room with darts, pool table, table tennis and table football. All of these facilities are exclusively available to our guests at no extra charge.
Large group accommodation near Loch Ness
Whilst guests can all dine together at our 24 seater dining table, there are also separate lounges and enchanting nooks and crannies where guests can also enjoy some quiet, ’me’, time – maybe with a little dram!
